In 1919 Otto Brenscheidt sen. founded the homonymous company in Iserlohn. At the beginning conventional plating was predominant. All popular metal platings were offered. In addition to conditioning of tubes and profiles, a method of wire treatment which was unique at the time was developed in 1924..

In 1954 the company was reorganized. Ernst and Otto Brenscheidt jun., sons of the founder split the company in two autonomous companies. Otto Brenscheidt jun. continued refining tubes and profiles in Iserlohn and Ernst Brenscheidt relocated wire and strap treatment to Sundern-Stemel.

Both companies are still in family hands.

In the meantime Otto Brenscheidt GmbH & Co. KG has developed into a modern electroplating service, offering not only professional treatment of several products, but also an assortment of trade goods.

We are especially well known for treatment of tubes and profiles up to 5950 mm length and we currently supply companies in the sanitary, building and furniture industry as well as shop and interior fitting business in Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania. Our co-operation with well-known tube suppliers allows us to offer you all existing tube and standard profiles made of brass, steel and iron.
